Canon PowerShot G7 X Mk II with Flash – 1/60, f/4, ISO 125
This was an interesting day picture-wise. Had nothing in particular in mind to shoot when the day started. Then got invited to visit our son-in-law and daughter’s house. This meant it was going to be a G7 X Mk II day since I didn’t want to lug the big 5D with lenses around.
On the way there, I spotted something I hadn’t seen in the 10 plus years we’ve had one of the world’s largest wind farms out our back door (other than when they are building them) – a windmill without vanes. My wife was driving so I asked her to stop and snapped the pic.
The actual photo of the day has to be of my grandson sitting on his Dad’s shoulders laughing. He’s usually very poker faced when it comes to me taking his picture so I grabbed the opportunity to snap the photo.
The other pic is of a silhouette of birds outside their bird feeder. I’m impressed how it came out with the G7 X. Especially since it was shot through a picture window and in shadows without a flash.
