5D Mk IV – EF100mm f/2.8 Macro – MT 24EX Macro Twin Flash – 1/125, f/10, ISO 100
Went to the grocery today and while grabbing some staples, I got the idea for today’s shoot. I happen to stockpile this particular brand of grape sport drink. Early in this damn pandemic, the store ran out of this for several weeks. Since then, I purchase enough of this to maintain about a three week supply on hand. Nothing special about today’s shoot, It’s not really a macro photograph, but I used the 100mm prime macro lens because it so versatile. I also used the twin light macro flash – this is a fun on-camera flash that I really like since the flash heads are so darn adjustable. I had both heads sitting on top of the lens but shooting downward toward the bottom of the picture. Maybe I’ll do a photo of the day of this flash someday soon…
The guest photo was one I took one year ago today. It’s actually a photo stacked image but I really like how it turned out.
