5D Mk IV – EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L II – 1/250, f/2.8, ISO 400, Eval Meter
Well I’ve changed the Photo of the Day after posting a picture. The original post starts below and the original Photo of the Day was of the backyard crappy weather. No sooner had I posted that when I went upstairs and saw this fella sitting on the bird feeder. I grabbed the 5D and started taking pics through the window. There was reflection so I slowly opened the window and he was not afraid at all – probably 3 feet from me. I snapped several photos and liked these the best. I know I’ve posted squirrel pics before but thought this was better than the backyard. Besides, if he was brave enough to get out in this weather, that makes him (or her) the Photo of the Day!
ORIGINAL POST STARTS HERE – Not gonna lie, today was about as miserable a day as they come. Low 50’s, steady and sometimes heavy rain all day. It’s so overcast you can’t even see the windmills. No animals are out, nor bugs. Flowers are all drooped over. Sheesh. When will warm weather get here? I hear next week will be in the 80’s though.
The purpose of this shot was to just document the crappy weather. Took it out on the back deck with the G7 X. The only thing to note with this shot is I took it in Fisheye mode so I could get a little wider landscape shot.
Hopefully better days are ahead.
Love them all!
