Canon G7 X Mk II – 1/640, f/6.3, ISO 125, Eval Meter
What a loooonnnggg day. Spent most of it indoors – airports, airplanes, hotels, and casinos. Very tired but did manage to get a few picks snapped. Nothing fancy, but enough to show off Las Vegas. The Photo of the Day is taken closer to the southern tip of the Las Vegas Strip. The picture is looking north. Just the size, scale, and number of Casinos is amazing. It’s unbelievable how many casinos are new since we were last here. I thought the pic itself was kinda cool with the reflection of buildings behind me in the glass of the bridge overwalk.
The below pic demonstrates the scale of the signs. This Aria resort sign is 260 ft tall – 26 stories! at 65 ft wide, it contains 11,000 sq. ft. of electronic advertising.
The Bellagio Lobby ceiling is adorned with 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers – the Fiori di Como – created by world-renowned artist, Dale Chihuly. It is quite impressive.
Vegas!! So cool!
