Canon 5D Mk IV – EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro – Einstein 640W Strobe – 1/250, f6.3, ISO 100, Spot Meter
It was a rainy and chilly day today; pretty much rained all day. So I decided to stay inside today. I was talking to Roxie and she suggested that I do my incense shot for the Photo of the Day. The reason for this is I purchased some Mainichikoh sandalwood incense at the Byodo-In Temple in Hawaii when we visited it. This incense is what they use in the temple – it is not overpowering like some incenses. Anyway, setup was the same as always – macro lens, a strobe on the side, camera tethered to computer, and remote control. I guess you could say this type of photo has become a sub-specialty of mine.
I didn’t notice anything different in the photos compared to other incenses, but it sure smelled nice!
Very, very cool!
