Canon G7 X Mk II – 1/640, f/11, ISO 125, CWA Meter
It seems the dog days of summer are here. Today was a bit of a struggle in taking a photo. I bought sweet corn a few days ago and as I was getting it ready to grill, I thought it might make a nice macro shot. But here’s the catch – after a full day at work, I didn’t feel like getting the 5D out with the dedicated macro lens. Instead, I grabbed the trusty G7 X, put it in macro mode, and took it outside in the sun. I put the camera on my small Gorilla tripod, adjusted the exposure, and took several shots with a 2 second delay. I give you ‘Corn’, the Photo of the Day. (I’m not sure what that stuff is on the left ear. I’ll make sure to cook it well!).
