Remember the saying ‘Expose for the ambient, fill with the flash’? This is another window type photo I took to show what it looks like now before the big winter storm. A shot like this is a bit of trial and error. The key, in my opinion, is to set your meter to spot since you want to expose for what’s on the other side of the glass. You may need to adjust the flash exposure compensation a bit. In this case, there was 0 exposure bias so it worked out well.
I’ll take another pic tomorrow after the storm has gone through to compare.
