I’ll have another update or so later this week but first, let’s review some Project 365 statistics:

• Total Photos = 15,329* – this was the number of photos taken over the course of the year – January 1 through December 31. Obviously, of these, only 365 made the PotD (this means any photo had a 2.38% chance of being the PotD).
• *Note – There were actually more than 15,329 images but that is the number we’ll use. On March 16, I took the Mini 2 drone up and did a panorama of the Hoosier Crossroads Wind Farm. For a reason I can not remember, the only image I have from March 16, is a final, low res, stitched image. I do not have any of the source files, and I don’t know what happened to them.
  • Cameras – 11 – this was the number of unique camera systems used during Project 365.
    • Canon 5D Mk IV – 10,273 images
    • Canon G7 X Mk II – 3,831 images
    • GoPro Hero 10 Black – 729 images
    • DJI Mini 2 Drone – 382 images
    • iPhone XR – 35 images
    • DJI FPV Drone – 33 images
    • Play Station 5 – 22 images
    • DJI Mavic Pro Drone – 11 images
    • iPhone 13 Pro Max – 9 images
    • Netvue Bird Feeder Cam – 3 images (screenshots from video)
    • Nest Doorbell Cam – 1 image
  • 5D Mk IV Lenses – These are the number of images for each lens used for the 10,273 images taken.
    • 70-200mm F/2.8L II – 3,813 images (1,494 of these were with the 2x extender)
    • 100mm F/2.8 Macro – 2,270 images
    • 50mm F/1.2L – 2,077 images
    • 16-35mm F/2.8L – 1,214 images
    • 24-70mm F/2.8 L II – 899 images
  • Most Pictures Taken
    • Month – May: 1,746 images
    • Day – September 7: 332 images
  • Least Pictures Taken
    • Month – February: 658 Images
    • Day – There were 7 days where only 1 picture was taken: Jan 3, May 10, Oct 20, Oct 21, Nov 12, Nov 15, Dec 20. Note that 3 of those days, almost half, came after I returned from Florida.

• Photo of the Day – Only 2.38% of all photos taken became a PotD. Here are those statistics.
  • Cameras – 10 unique camera systems were used in the production of the PotD.
    • Canon 5D Mk IV = 213 images
    • Canon G7 X Mk II = 111 images
    • GoPro Hero 10 Black = 14 images
    • DJI Mini 2 Drone = 12 images
    • iPhone XR = 5 images
    • Play Station 5 = 5 images
    • iPhone 13 Pro Max = 2 images
    • DJI Mavic Pro Drone = 1 images
    • Nest Doorbell Cam = 1 images
    • Netvue Bird Feeder Cam = 1 images
  • 5D Mk IV Lenses – These are the number of images for each lens used for the 213 PotD taken by the 5D Mk IV.
    • 100mm F/2.8 Macro = 63 images
    • 50mm F/1.2L = 46 images
    • 70-200mm F/2.8 L II = 43 images (10 of these were with the 2x extender)
    • 16-35mm F/2.8L = 31 images
    • 24-70mm F/2.8 L II = 30 images
