DJI Mini 3 – 1/400, f/1.7, ISO 100

As I did with Project 365, There were a few instances where I had a guest photographer. Well, this is Project 52’s guest photograph from none other than Dan Guba. We were up in South Haven from August 26 to the 29th but this pic was taken after that. It is a photo Guba took of his dinghy that he recently bought. we went for a few rides on it – a windy and wet ride on Lake Michigan, but some relaxing rides down the Black River. That was reminiscent in spots of The Creature from the Black Lagoon.

This was taken with Guba’s Mini 3 drone. He hadn’t flown much since getting it a year ago – he was very apprehensive about his flying skills. He was down to visit us this past weekend so I gave him a few lessons. I believe his confidence has improved significantly. As he said, he feels like he went from a Freshman to a Junior in his flying skills…
