“Popcorn Harvest”

Well it’s that time of year, and this is a drone shot of harvest time. For those that have never seen a popcorn field, here is one for you. The efficiency of the modern combines amazes me. When I, and my beautiful wife, were young, we would have to go ‘glean’ corn in the fields to help offset costs to feed our animals. That would be very hard, almost impossible, to do today. I walked to this field after harvest and found a small, single, half-shucked ear of popcorn. I kinda felt sorry for it…
