Canon G7 X Mk II – 1/1000, f/11, ISO 125

I went to the store today and took my trusty G7X Mk II. Upon returning from the grocery, I intended to drive into the country and take some pictures of the roads after the winter storm. The East – West roads were supposedly worse. I got to my intended location, hopped out, and took a single picture. The next thing I saw was a message on the camera that the battery was dead.

In any case, the picture of the day makes the county roads look a little better than they actually were. The drifts on the side were about 3 feet, and there really wasn’t that much melting. Also, the plow width was only about a vehicle and a half. Thankfully, the wind had died down so things should improve the next few days.
