Well today we celebrated Easter one day early and the Easter Egg hunt (among other activities) was caught on camera. Andie and Colin had a blast hunting for the eggs. They are natural egg hunters – with a little help from their parents as evidenced in the Photo of the Day. The pics were taken outside during what could be described as the worst light of the day for picture taking. High noon is notorious for harsh sunlight and shadows.

I took a lot of photos today, and it was difficult choosing which ones would get posted. I wanted to keep the theme to the egg hunt and I believe the photos do justice to that. I chose the Photo of the Day because it shows both kids looking for eggs with that extra help from Mom in this case. If I were to change anything, I probably would have put the 24 – 70mm lens on. It would have given me more flexibility in regards to the distance I could get to the subjects.

Fun Day!!!
