5D Mk IV – EF 100mm Macro – MT – 24EX Macro TwinLite – 1/125, f/32, ISO 100
This was a weird photo to take and process. I was looking out the window and saw that some of the bushes out front had bloomed. The wind was blowing about 15 mph so the bush was shaking steadily in the wind. I opted to cut off a single stem and bring it inside to photo under better conditions. As soon as I went outside, it was cold and windy, as I said, but I also heard a buzzing sound. I looked around for a Humming Bird, but this time, it actually turned out to be a Bumble Bee! And it appeared angry that I’d invaded it’s territory! I quickly snipped a flower and ran inside.
So the pic was actually an enhanced photo stack of 10 images. Something about it just doesn’t look right. I think it is the petal on the upper left looks like it is going backward. In fact, that petal is going forward the same as the others.
Oh well, it is what it is. Say hello to the Photo of the Day.
