5D Mk IV, EF 70-200mm f/2.8L II – 2X Extender – 1/125, f/9, ISO 100, Eval Meter
Most of the time I’ve taken shots of the moon have been at night. I happened to look up this afternoon and saw this Waxing Crescent Moon 36% against the backdrop of the tree. It was about 5pm so I got the 5D with the 70-200 and 2X Extender, set the focal length to 400mm, exposed at an aperture of f/9, and snapped the picture. This was not a hard shot, nor is it really artsy. I was busy today with lawn care and golf hitting practice, but I wanted a quick (but decent) shot for the Photo of the Day.
