‘Field of Dreams’

This Photo of the Day is titled ‘Field of Dreams’. I had taken well over 250 photos today when this opportunity presented itself. Toward the end of the day, Andie gravitated to this spot in our backyard and just stared at the windmills. As I was taking the photo, I knew this would be the PotD out of all the other pics I took. I also knew it would be a black and white. I think the B&W adds a bit of nostalgia and elegance.

The thing I wanted to be careful of taking the pic was to make sure the aperture was set so that the windmills weren’t entirely blurred out, but had just enough blur to have the focus on Andie but know what she was looking at.

The pic of Colin below is called ‘Jailbreak’ because, well, you know why.
