Canon 5D Mk IV – EF 70 – 200mm f/2.8L II – 1/250, f/2.8, ISO 200, Eval Meter

It was a busy day at the bird feeder this afternoon. At one point a HUGE woodpecker with a really big tuft of hair on its head landed on it. Unfortunately, I was not quick enough with the camera. Between that, and the instability of the feeder with that huge lummox on it caused him to quickly fly off and I missed the shot. Shortly thereafter, this bluejay showed up. The last bluejay that made the PotD was on Day 34 during a snowstorm. I do not believe this is the same bird.

The interesting thing about this shot, and the chipmunk below, are they were, once again, shot through a pane of glass. You can see some reflection in the lower part of the shots.

This shot I took outside has a cool, kind of Stephen Kingish quality to it. I was originally going to have it be the PotD, but someone in this household successfully argued against it. In any case, I do like the weirdness of it.
