Canon 5D Mk IV – EF 50mm f/1.2L – 12mm Ext Tube – 1/2000, f/1.2, ISO 100, Eval Meter

Ok, I know it’s another macro shot. This has a bit of a technical twist. I took the PotD with my 50mm L lens but added a 12mm extension tube. I tried to use a 36mm tube at first but the distance between the lens and the subject was literally millimeters. I switched to the 12 mm tube and this gave me a bit more separation, maybe 2inches max.

Anyway, the PotD is a closeup pic of my golf net. The next few days, I would expect to be taking some food pics – I’ll be making a 14.5 lb packer brisket this weekend. Gotta go get it prepped now…
