DJI Mini 2 – 1/400, f/2.8, ISO 100, CWA Meter

Holy Cow! The U.S. Drought Monitor Map has us in an Abnormally Dry area, but not a drought, yet. I looked at my weather station this afternoon and saw the temp was 99 degrees and the heat index was 119! In light of this, I thought I’d take the drone up to get a shot of my, once pretty, grass. The PotD is a pic of the backyard taken at an altitude of 90 feet. That grass was really green about 3 weeks ago. Now it’s just plain DRY.

We did get some rain last evening, but not enough. This second pic is one I took at about 150 feet looking east. I liked the look of the clouds.
