Canon 5D Mk IV – EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II – 5 Sec, f/11, ISO 50, Eval Meter
Today was a very busy day. We had the pork shoulder smoking, Grandkids and son-in-law visited, lawn mowing, scuba gear organizing, etc, etc. It was also the day of the Brookston Fireworks so I thought I’d get a shot of the fireworks. The shot was taken about midway through the program. These shots are really easy now. However, you do need a tripod and a remote control. I set the aperture to f/11 to get a lot of depth of field, and the shutter speed was set to 5 seconds with the ISO to 50. Focus was done on the very first shot then switched to manual so the focus wouldn’t change. I then sat back and hit the remote control every 5 seconds.
I also took the drone up at sunset. I tried to do this a few days ago but clouds came in from the west. This is sunset over Brookston.
Lastly, this is an Entenmann’s Danish I picked up at the store. They were all like this. WTH, if you are going to make it smaller but charge the same, then make the package size smaller! It’s like you are flaunting it in our faces.
The shot of the firework is amazing! Well done! Beautiful sunset too!
