‘Serengeti’
Canon G7 X Mk II – 1/1000, f/6.3, ISO 125, CWA Meter
Today was kind of a weird day, photo-wise. I originally intended to do another macro pic. Work got in the way, and then I went and played some golf, so I never got around to hunting for a proper bug. So here is a CALL-OUT to any of my ‘Fans’ – if you happen upon a dead bug, save it for me!
Anyway, while I was golfing, I got to looking at the tree and the tall grass. I thought this could be mistaken for the Serengeti Plain in Africa. Go ahead, look up some photos of the Serengeti! However, it is actually a prominent feature on the course, and although you can’t see it, the fairway for hole 6 runs just on the other side. My original intent was to turn this into a black and white, but upon seeing the color, that’s what I preferred. I named this PotD ‘Serengeti’.
So, all in alll, kind of a lazy photo day, but then again, this does maintain one of our Project 365 themes – golf.
Very cool!
