Canon G7 X Mk II – 1/1250, f/4, ISO 125, Eval Meter

This is the intersection of CR 100E and CR 1250S in White County. I am facing north towards Brookston. For the almost 30 years we’ve lived up here, this has been a dangerous intersection, especially in the summer when the crops are high. It was only a two-way stop for drivers on CR 100E. The problem is drivers persistently ignored the stop sign – many times driving through it at 70+ mph. When I was a Road Trooper, I worked several accidents here. We (ISP) tried to get the County to make this a four-way stop to no avail.

On Monday of this week, a car didn’t stop and there was a fatal accident. On Thursday of this week, the County Highway Dept. finally made this a four-way stop. The photo is more a documentary pic. Nothing special – I just set the exposure and snapped the pic.

On the other hand, look what I grabbed at the store today. I’ve been eyeing the briskets since the grocery put them out about 10 days ago. When the price comes down, I grab.
