Today was a Summit Day at Nima and Beave’s. It was a jam packed day. We practiced shooting with pistols and semi-automatic rifles, went to a Terre Haute Brewery for lunch. Came back and practiced golf, and spent a lot of time understanding a basic Astrophotography set-up.
But this PotD was a gimme from the start. Shortly after we arrived, Beave, Megan (Beave’s daughter), and I went down to their ‘range’ and practiced. Shot lots of different pistols and rifles – 45 cal, 40 cal, 9mm, and 5.56. NATO rounds. But this shot was the PotD when Beave was shooting an AK-47 and when he hit the target, it kind of exploded and fell apart. I had the camera set to continuous shooting but didn’t know I’d caught the target falling apart until later.
Very cool!
