Canon 5D Mk IV – EF 70-200mm f/2.8L – 1/400, f/4, ISO 100, Eval Meter

It’s official. We are in the Dog Days of the PotD. I went outside this afternoon to attempt to get a shot of the elusive hummingbird. I got the exposure set. Remember it is in shade so I have to up the ISO considerably in order to get a shutter speed of 1/4000. Anyway, I waited and waited and waited. I then hit some golf balls, and waited some more. I practiced chipping and then waited even more. Needless to say, the hummingbird was a no show.

Given that I needed a PotD, I decided I’d keep the bird theme. Hope you like the PotD.
