Bones
5D Mk IV – EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro – 640W Strobes (x2) – 1/200/ f/22, ISO 100, Eval Meter
Roxie came up with the idea to photograph a part of her latest crochet project. She’s making an Adoption Tote and Pet Food Mat. These 3 white bones will go on the front of it. This will be Mason’s travel bag. I put the real dog biscuit in there to set the scale. They are almost the same size!
The shot was a single shot. Even though I took it with the macro lens, I wouldn’t call this a macro photograph. It was a single shot – no stacking of images. Notice the aperture was set to f/22 – That is to capture as much depth of field as possible. Two Einsteins were used. The one on the left front was set high and that light was pinpointed right in the middle of the back dog bone to decrease the shadows in that area.
Very cute!
