5D Mk IV – EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro – 640 W Strobes (x3) – 1/200, f/6.3, ISO 100, Eval Meter
Today was kind of a nothing day – didn’t even think about what I was going to take a picture of until late in the afternoon. And then I was like, ‘hey, let’s do some ammunition.’ So that’s what I did. I took 5 types of ammunition for 4 different weapons. This pic is similar to the cork picture I took a few weeks ago. However, I kept the black bottom a little more gritty – I thought this added ambience to the pic. The same with that stray hair on the shotgun shell.
From the left is a 12 gauge buckshot shell, then a 5.56×45 NATO round, then we have 2 different .40 cal rounds, and finally a .38 cal round. The pic was your typical macro set-up. What was different is that this was 5 photos, but I went back to stacking them in Photoshop as my trial license for Zerene Stacker expired yesterday. I want to evaluate another Focus Stacking program – Helicon Focus – before I decide which one I prefer.
Very cool!
