Canon G7 X Mk II – 1/200, f/4, ISO 125, Eval Meter
I took some internal backlash over this PotD, but I never promised that this project would be without controversy. This photo comes with a warning: Graphic or explicit content – viewers be advised. Anyway, this black cat has been seen in our yard several times over the past several days. Today, we saw it in the front yard with what we originally thought was a mouse or a chipmunk; we weren’t sure. I grabbed the little G7 X and started snapping quick photos through the window. This was the first one I took. The photo is also heavily cropped to allow a closer examination – and that tail confirms it was a chipmunk. If I see that cat in the yard again, I will prepare to do target practice with my BB gun.
The last photo i took today is displayed below. That shows the remaining tree trunk being towed away. We have someone coming on Friday to grind the stump up.
Bye, bye tree! And poor rodent
