5D Mk IV – EF 24-70 F/2.8L – 580EX II SpeedLite – 1/125, f/22, ISO 100, Eval Meter
This is going to be short. I don’t have an internet connection to my website – blame it on ComCRAPS. Instead, I am forced to use a one bar cellular hotspot so bandwidth is very limited. The PotD was at Roxie’s suggestion. The plant on the front porch has started blooming very large flowers. This is one of them. The interesting thing about the photo is it sort of looks like it was taken at night. In reality, it was taken about 1:00pm. The very small aperture of f/22, and the use of a flash, is what is causing it to look dark.I took it at f/22 to maximize depth of field given the short distance I was to the flower.
Very pretty flowers, but apparently they don’t last long.
So pretty!
