5D Mk IV – EF 16-35 f/2.8L – 580EX II SpeedLite – 1/200, f/6.3, ISO 100, Eval Meter

Cleaning day today. This is what a field stripped M4 rifle looks like. Thought I’d give it a good cleaning. It’s a beautiful rifle. As it was sitting on the table with the cleaning gear, I thought “why not make it the Photo of the Day?” I was glad the 16-35 lens was still on the camera because I needed the wide angle. I tried several different angles for the flash but settled on a direct flash. I also went with B&W because it gives a more raw grittiness to the photo.

By the way, I can now access my website again from the ComCRAPS home network, go figure.
