Canon G7 X Mk II – 1/13, f/1.8, ISO 3200, Eval Meter
Today was 21 years since the anniversary of 9/11. I was originally thinking I would do something related to 9/11. I’ve done flag pictures before and didn’t necessarily want to do another one – if you know me, you know I am a Patriot. After we got up, it was raining and kind of nasty so we decided we’d go see Top Gun Maverick. I basically started my career in the military/law enforcement when the original Top gun was being filmed. Here it is 37 years later and I’m looking at retirement. That’s 37 years as a true Patriot.
I brought my small G7 X to the theater. I knew there wouldn’t be too many people since the movie has been out for almost 4 months. After we got there, I went to the top corner of the IMAX theater and snapped a couple of quick pics before the movie started. I kept it in black and white mode because I like that documentary style of look. This was taken handheld and without flash. Note the very low shutter speed, wide open aperture, and high ISO.
Very cool!
Very kool pops!! Crazy timeline for the movies and ur career! Also who’s in the bottom right corner?! Looks like they looking at you:)
