We went for a bike ride to at Prophetstown and aside from getting rained on when there was only a 3% chance of rain, I got this cool PotD. Yes, we got rained on when the weather people said only a 3% chance! Anyway, it’s that time of year again. At Prophetstown, it’s the 13th annual Trail of Scarecrows event leading up to Halloween. Roxie had stopped a few minutes earlier and I wanted to ride down a bit to see if there were any photo opportunities. I went by a number of ‘scarecrow’ displays but this one really caught my eye – 3 Scarecrow dogs made of straw!
The pic, obviously wasn’t hard. Set the exposure and take the pic. I took several with and without flash. This one, without flash, I liked the best.
Side note: when the weatherman tell you the percentage of rain it actually means that there is a 100% chance that 3% of the viewing area with get rain 🙂 so you were in that lucky 3% area
