As I’ve stated before, the PotD may have a tendency to be controversial. Today is no exception. I pondered taking this pic with and without the 75% and, in fact, took several pics of both. Ultimately I went with the 75% because I felt it added another layer of controversy and water cooler rumors.
But first about the pic. Not hard technical wise – standard stuff except I added the flash with a diffuser pointed straight up to help manage the exposure of the toilet paper. There were two challenges though. 1) The permanent marker easily bled through and I got it all over my hands, and 2) I had to take this picture upside down and bent at a really weird angle because there was no room in the bathroom.
Anyway, Day 271 is close enough to 75% of the way through this project that I felt the need to commemorate. The question is: what was I trying to convey with this pic? Maybe I’m also 75% of the way through with the book? But why on toilet paper? Too many questions need answering. You be the judge.
Haha. I still want to read those books!
