I took a picture on Day 155 form a similar angle; there’s lots of differences though. That one had my granddaughter in it. It was also a B & W. It was a handheld shot. Finally it was taken on June 6 before the crops started growing. This pic is a complementary photo to yesterday’s Harvest pic. While that one was taken with the drone, this on is from my %d and is on a tripod. I also used a filter that I don’t using much; my circular polarizing filter. That filter is honestly not the best out there. It is hard to see through the lens where the polarizer is best set at so the sky doesn’t look weird. In this case, it was trial and error. I’d snap a pic, go into the shade, examine, and adjust. Rinse and repeat. I finally got an acceptable shot but the sky is a bit too blue, it has weird lines in it, and it is too dramatic a difference where the polarizer stops. I probably could have pointed the camera up a little more to compensate, but I honestly couldn’t see it and let’s face it – I probably won’t use that filter much. Anyway, the pic shows the field is now a barren wasteland after the harvest.
Wow. So different from the Andie photo but also so cool!
