So this is what it’s come down to? A can of soup? Ha, just kidding! As I told Roxie, my audience has a constant need for original imagery, and I thought this would be a unique photo opportunity. After all, every day can’t be like yesterday’s Praying Mantis!
This PotD is not what it seems. This can of soup is actually only 1/4 full. I ate most of it prior, and while looking at it thought, this would make a cool PotD. The hard part was getting a good balance with the light. Both twin lites were bouncing off the insides of the can. It was a delicate balance between over and under exposing. I opted for a really small aperture. There still appears to be some overexposure but I think it’s acceptable. I like the shadows created on both sides. By the way, this is a handheld single shot photo.
The can looks completely full!
