5D Mk IV – EF 24-70 F/2.8L, 1/100, f/10, ISO 100, Eval Meter
Today we went to Exploration Acres which is a seasonal farm festival type of thingy, with lots of activities for little kids. I packed up the 5D with the 24-70 lens and put it in the car. At the last minute I decided I’d just take the G7 X, and brought the 5D back inside. Then at the last, last minute, I changed my mind and brought the 5D back out and away we went. I’m glad I did. I took 196 pics and was very happy with a lot of them. Any one of the 8 pics on this page could have been the PotD. I opted for the SeeSaw scene because it included everyone; Andie, Colin, Ryan, Steph, and Roxie.I was torn between posting the color version vs. the B&W. I went with the Black and White because it has that ‘Street Documentary’ style that I like. The main thing I did today was set the camera to Aperture Priority mode. This let me control the depth of field – it was bright enough outside that I really didn’t need to worry about shutter speed. A few pics I had to increase the ISO to 200 to help out with shade.
This guy was limping when he walked away from the ‘Tumble Tubes’.
Such a fun day!!
These are all so good! And ouch to that poor guy in the tubes!!
