Canon 5D Mk IV – EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro – Einstein Studio Lights – 1/125, f/11, ISO 100

I took the camera and studio lights into the workshop today to run another test. I set up two Einsteins in Action mode to test their action stopping capabilities. I put a drill bit into the drill press and experimented with a block of wood and PVC pipe. In both pictures, the bit is turning at 1100 rpm! On the left side, the light had a snoot attached to really focus the light on the bit. I had another Einstein off to the right with a 20 grid attached which provided fill light. If you look close, you can see little particles flying out from the pieces.
