This is a simple documentary Photo of the Day. My beloved Tilley hat of 27 years tore really bad. I purchased this hat when I was in my 30’s; it was my first Tilley hat. I think Zack was 9 and Steph was 7. We bought it at a shop at John’s Pass in Florida. I forget how much we paid for it, but I do remember it was expensive for us, and I went back and forth on whether I should get it. We finally bought it, and I can say this hat has paid for itself over the years. I now have several different Tilley hats but this one has a special place in my heart.

The Tilley hat supposedly has a lifetime guarantee – see the pic below. I have started the process to see if I can get a replacement so I’ll keep everyone posted on my progress.
