Canon G7 X Mk II – 1/30, f/1.8, ISO 160, Eval Meter
Well what is turning into an annual Florida Roadtrip is officially underway! Guba and I took off from home today at 6:48am. We had tickets for the iconic Mammoth Cave Historic Tour at 12:45pm today. We got down here in plenty of time – it was an uneventful first day (so far) other than lots of rain. Anyway, I have the trusty G7 X – it”s a great travel camera. However, Mammoth Cave has serious restrictions on camera use – NO FLASH AT ALL. This places us photographers at a serious disadvantage. I took a number of pics in the cave, but they were challenged to say the least.
However, the two pics on this page are pretty cool. It’s the same focal point but taken 180 degrees apart. The Photo of the Day was actually chosen by Guba. I think he made a good choice. The PotD is exiting Mammoth Cave. The pic below is entering the cave. Both pics are in Black and white – it was a rainy and dreary day and B & W looked nice.
Love the pics, brings back memories!
These are amazing!
