Canon G7 X Mk II – 1/1250, f/6.3, ISO 125, Eval Meter
We left Lake City, Florida at 7:27am and hit the Tampa area around 9:55am. We were way early since it could be as late as 4pm until we could check in. We wasted a bit of time around Busch Gardens, then drove on to Clearwater Beach. We got here around 11am and went to a local bar and grill on the beach to eat lunch. That led to a beer and other important things (that will remain quiet until said party releases info) which led to the Photo of the Day. Let’s call this an celebratory honor beer on the beach! I like this pic because I happen to like silhouettes. How I took it: I exposed for the outside sand since that was the lightest. This resulted in a high shutter speed and mid range aperture.
Other things about the trip today – It’s election season and here in Clearwater it’s no exception. I took this pic really fast as we were driving by. Jeez, who has time to read all these signs while driving?
This pic is on the causeway leaving Clearwater and approaching Clearwater Beach. Our condo is on the left side partially covered by the lightpole.
This is a view from our balcony looking south toward Sandkey Beach. Interesting to note is I had the digital Neutral Density Filter enabled for this shot; otherwise, the sun on the water would have blown out most of the pic.
Great pics!
Thanks for the honorary beer!!
