GoPro Hero 10 Black – 1/290, f/2.5, ISO 100, CWA Meter
Today was a fishing day. Two George’s Deep Sea Fishing in Tarpon Springs. There were about 30 people on the boat so it wasn’t too crowded. Guba and I only caught a few Grunts with one exception below. However, several people did catch nice sized groupers. This 8 pounder in the PotD was caught by a 13 year old girl – it was her first time fishing. Her grandfather is standing on her right side (our left). The deck hand Mike is holding the grouper.
This is a pic of us leaving the dock at Tarpon Springs shortly after 8am.
The exception to our grunts was this baby octopus that Guba caught. He didn’t know he had it. His hook got caught on a chunk of coral and the coral broke off. After he got it on deck, this little creature slithered out. It was about the size of a fingernail but it’s hard to judge since there is no other reference in the pic. The camera was set to macro mode so I’m pretty close.
Lastly, all the fish people caught are filleted right on the boat by the crew. This was the last batch of fish cleaned.
Very cool pics! Big fish
Cute little octopus!
