Canon G7 X Mk II – 1/200, f/2.8, ISO 125, Eval Meter

Today was a busy day. Went to John’s Pass first. I (we – Roxie, I and kids) started going there about 27 years ago. However, let’s talk about the PotD first. This was an impulse pic. I’m not a big fan of sunset pics; everybody does them. However, I saw the ‘Pirate’ ship and did take a pic. As it turned out, this made the PotD.

Over time things usually change drastically, but thankfully John’s Pass doesn’t seem to have changed much. Except I do not remember Highway 666. We took the Sunset Beach Coastal Trolley today down to St. Pete Beach, then back up to John’s Pass. I don’t recall 666 as an option. Not sure I’d want to take it either. Just sayin….

So here’s a pic of the John’s Pass Boardwalk. Looks the same as when we were first here 27 years ago. A lot of the shops are still the same.

This is a quick pic of the trolley while going back to Clearwater Beach.

  1. That pirate ship photo looks like it belongs in the Pirates movies. So glad John’s Pass hasn’t changed much!
