This PotD is taken from very close to the same spot and direction as yesterday’s Pirate Ship PotD. The big difference is this is an actual rescue taking place from a capsized boat. The accident happened right in front of me about 50 to 75 yards offshore. I didn’t have my phone on me so I asked a person close by to call 911. I snapped this quick pic and watched for a bit. Lot’s of boats converged to assist in the rescue. Apparently 9 people were on board when it flipped over. Police boats showed up very quick and the scene was stabilized.
After awhile, while the capsized boat was just floating, I saw a Tiki Bar boat approaching. On any other day, this would have been the PotD.
Lastly, this is a pic of the very crowded Clearwater Beach today. I chose B&W since it kinda reminded me of the beach scene in Jaws.
That tiki bar boat looks really kool and yeah it def reminds you of Jaws!! Great photos pops!!
How do you turn over a boat like that? Great pics!
So cool! Love the B&W shot!
