Well, we are starting to feel the effects of Tropical Storm Nicole. Wind is about 20 mph and rain has started. The PotD is in contrast to 5 days ago when we went to John’s Pass. This is a pic on the boardwalk but from a slightly different location. Note the absence of people. Normally at 3pm, this place would be packed. Today it was like a ghost town – there were people around but not many. The next day should prove interesting. I’ve never been in a Tropical Storm. They are predicting 2-4 inches of rain and gusts to about 65 mph. Stay tuned for potential photos.
This is another attempt at mimicking a tilt-shift lens and going for the miniature effect. I’d really like to get my hands on a true tilt-shift lens, but ever since Covid, they just aren’t available.
I took this pic of a crane(?). I just liked it so it made it as a secondary photo.
Hope all survived the storm!
