Canon G7 X Mk II – 1/400, f/5, ISO 160, Eval Meter

Remember a few days ago when I said I had some pics I had wanted to use, but didn’t? Well these two pics were both strong PotD contenders on their respective days. Today’s PotD was taken on November 6. The drone pic of Clearwater Beach beat this one out. However, judging from Roxie’s reaction after seeing this pic, that drone pic might not have been the correct PotD then. I really like this pic of the seagulls sitting and looking at me. I was able to get pretty close and snapped several shots. It also looks great in B&W. Guba even got in on the action taking several cell phone pics.

The pic below is of the condo complex we stayed in. The condo on the left is known as ‘440 West” Our room was on the 10th floor. I kept it in SuperPhoto mode even though a true architectural pic would straighten the building lines. I just like the look. Remember what beat out this pic? It was the sunset with the Pirate Ship silhouette that won out on that day (November 4).
