Canon G7 X Mk II – On-Board Flash – 1/100, f/6.3, ISO 125, Eval Meter
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Today, in honor of Turkey Day, we have food shots. First, let’s start with the potD. These homemade biscuits were the bomb (as was all the food)! All you need to know is they were coated inside and out with honey butter. Lot’s of honey butter. The shots itself was taken in Macro mode using the on-board flash. Nothing difficult about it. I did use a higher f-stop of 6.3 as I wanted to get more of the rolls in focus.
Here is a pic of the chef holding this magnificent bowl of rolls. I didn’t use this as the PotD because this was taken in Auto mode. This made the ISO higher since I didn’t want to use flash. It also appears that I had the focal point off a bit. In hindsight, I should have put it in manual mode, decreased the shutter speed and increased the aperture a bit. I could have also tried with and without flash.
Finally another pic of the smoked turkey. I got a lot of good comments.
Good food and great day!!
Everything was so yummy! Glad everyone enjoyed my rolls!
