5D Mk IV – EF 50mm F/1.2L – 580 EX II SpeedLite – 1/160, f/5, ISO 100, Spot Meter

It was really crappy weather-wise today. Cold, windy, and rainy. This PotD was a bit of an accident. I was looking out my studio window and thought I’d take a pic of the weather. The original intent was to take a pic from the perspective of my chair, with the window in the background. But then — -BORING! After looking at the pics, and cropping them considerably, I liked this one as it got the rain on the glass window, the screen behind the glass, and the general dreariness. I used both a 50mm lens and a 100mm macro lens. I settled on the 50mm.

The pic does bear some similarities to some of the other water/rain pics I’ve posted.
