5D Mk IV – EF100mm Macro – Einstein 640W Studio Lights – 1/125, f/32, ISO 100
I pulled this old toy gas station / garage out of storage for today’s picture of the day. It is approximately 36 years old and was made by my father for our son when he was born. This was a fun shoot as I used a macro lens with a very small aperture (f/32) in order to maximize the depth of field and try to get some of the interior in focus. I used two of the 640W Einsteins and I guess you could say they were both key lights; I had power set to max on both to compensate for the f/32 aperture. One light was to the left and set to capture the front of the garage. The other light was on top and set to illuminate the interior.
