Today was a ‘What’s Happening’ day. For starters, this is Day 91 which means we are 25% into the Photo of the Day. OK, technically, tomorrow morning at 6:00am is 25%, but I’m not gonna split hairs here. Anyway, I thought I’d do a 25% photo which turned into a self-portrait, sort of. For the shot, I tried this with and without flash. I was working in a confined space and the SpeedLite was throwing bad shadows, and there wasn’t enough room for strobes. I ended up just jacking up the ISO. I tried a number of apertures, but I liked this one the best. I’ll have to come up with ideas for 50%, 75%, and 100%.
On another note, today was April Fools Day and Mother Nature played a great April’s Fools joke on us. Remember the old saying ‘March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb’? Well, as you can see in the photo below, we had a light coating of snow when we got up. Doesn’t seem very lambish to me. Dang, warm weather can’t get here fast enough!
Yay to 25%!! Boo to snow!
