5D Mk IV – EF 50mm f/1.2 L – 1/80, f/2.2, ISO 100, Eval Meter

I thought it would only be appropriate if I took a shot of what I worked on most of the day. It’s more organized now than before – cleaned up for picture taking purposes. Yep, today was me working on taxes! The only thing that would have made this shot better was adding in our checkbook; Damn the Taxman!

About the shot – this was not too complicated. I wanted to use natural light and not a flash, and I wanted to have a fairly open aperture. This meant if I metered on only the computer, it would have been too dark. So I had to balance my metering – I exposed for just slightly to the left of the brighter right side.

I like how the shot turned out. Wish I could say the same about the taxes…
