A few weeks ago, I came upon a group of photos that hadn’t been merged into a panorama. They were taken in 2011 – twelve years ago, so I’m guessing that stitching panoramas then was a bit more complicated. This photo merge probably just got lost due to Father Time, if that makes sense.
This photo is of one of our favorite scuba destinations – Coco View Resort. There is a lot to take in with this picture. On the far left is the shipwrecked dive boat ‘Coco I’. Moving right we have two divers working their way to the ‘Front Yard’. Next up are the platforms to rest and relax. Across the bay is the Fantasy Island resort. Then we have Coco View’s cabanas, and finally, the Coco View bar, dining, and rec area.
Anyway, When I created this panorama, I knew it would make a PotW. The only issue with the original panorama was, in the sky, right in the middle of the picture, there was a dark blue line. I used Photoshop to remove that and make the sky more consistent.
Trivia fact: the full size panorama would make a picture about 40 inches long by over 12 inches long. How would that look on our wall Roxie???
Great pic. Miss that place!
