This week I had absolutely no time to work on any artsy photography stuff. I spent the entire week working on our one acre yard. In our 30 years here, this is the worst I have seen it post-winter. I have never seen this many sticks. I ended up hand raking the entire yard and then detaching it, and then raking more. My goal was to ‘de-stick’ the yard. I took over 50 large carts of sticks, acorns, and thatch out of it. This project actually took 8 days and 40+ hours.
On the very last day of raking up sticks, I walked outside and in the side yard, I saw this SPEAR (apex. 7 feet long) stuck in the lawn. It was like the trees were giving me the middle finger. I felt that this would have to be the PotW.
Wow!
